Stanley Jegede Foundation (SJF) is a non-governmental organization with a mission to make good quality of life accessible to Africa’s less privileged people, especially children and youths – towards the achievement of their life or career goals. Its activities and projects revolve around high-impact and well-rounded education, health, welfare, emergency relief, art heritage and international/group support initiatives that run on resourceful frameworks with enhanced technological innovation and solutions. SJF’s principal objective remains working with relevant local and international partners, and stakeholders to achieve its vision of seeing the foundation’s beneficiaries equipped for their preferred future.

Abuja, 16 April 2024 – The Stanley Jegede Foundation (SJF) announces its collaboration with the African Inland Mission (AIM) International on its Africa Missionary Kid Education Fund (AMKEF) initiative.

Through its Education Development Program, SJF is partnering with AIM International to support the education of African missionary children via a phased endowment plan for the year 2024.

In April of this year, the SJF donated funds to AIM’s Africa Missionary Kid Education Fund, directly addressing the educational needs of identified missionary kids whose parents are committed to bringing material and non-material relief to underserved communities across the African continent.

AMKEF is AIM’s scholarship program dedicated to the children of African missionaries affiliated with AIM. By focusing on a targeted group, AMKEF ensures long-term support and fosters a deeper connection with the beneficiaries. Funds are allocated annually to cover school fees for primary and secondary education.

AIM oversees the distribution of funds to eligible students and provides yearly progress reports to benefactors such as SJF, tracking each child’s academic progress. AMKEF’s success is measured by the consistent annual academic advancement of every beneficiary supported by such grants.

According to the executive chairman of SJF, Mr. Stanley Jegede:
“SJF believes education isn’t just a privilege; it’s the foundation for a brighter future. The foundation remains committed to designing or partnering on education development programs to generate long-term impact through result-oriented advocacy, campaigns, scholarships, mentor programs, donor/funding initiatives, and infrastructure projects—while implementing strategic models to ensure these initiatives and interventions work effectively for the benefit of African beneficiaries.

“We are proud to partner with AMKEF in their mission to empower young minds who will one day lead and transform Africa.”

This support grant aligns with SJF’s unwavering commitment to equipping children with the tools they need to succeed. Education, as envisioned by SJF, is not only about fostering dreams but nurturing the ability to achieve them.

The Stanley Jegede Foundation is confident that its partnership with AMKEF will pave the way for a brighter future for African children, empowering them to become future leaders and agents of positive change within their communities.
