The 4 weeks and 40-hours ABAT course as certified by the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) - rides on a robust curricula and explicit/innovative modalities of assistance as well as intervention plans for special needs children especially the autistic.
OLG was founded in June 2006 by Engr Chidi Izuwah of blessed memory and Dr (Mrs.) Doris IzuwahMBBS, QBA, ACAS, IBA. The center is located inside LEA Primary school opposite Oando filling station, Alex Ekwueme Way, Jabi, and Abuja FCT in Nigeria.
It was formed to provide help to children with special needs because of impressive improvement seen in a family member of the Izuwah who had moderate severe Autism with aattention deficit hyperactive disorder, sensory processing disorder and learning disability. This disorder spurred the family into acquiring massive and continual training to recover this child and help Nigerian children suffering from similar ailment.
Lastly, QABA is internationally accreditedagency by ANSI whose mission is to establish the highest standard of care and empower all professionals who provide behavioural intervention services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities. Its ccredentialingboard oversees the certification of the entry-level Applied Behaviour Analysis Technician (ABAT®), the supervisory-qualified Qualified Autism Services Practitioner (QASP-S®) and the masters-level Qualified Behaviour Analyst (QBA®) credential programs.
